Dean De Landre
B.1994
Currently living and working in Torquay, Victoria.
Dean De Landre is an artist and lecturer at Deakin University interested in the intersection between nostalgia, popular culture and the natural world. Through appropriating found imagery Dean explores how we relate to nature through books, television, videos games and other cultural ephemera. Removed from their original context, his practice encourages us to contemplate imagery in a new-found way.
Dean is represented by China Heights in Sydney.
